The hotel was in a lovely location, nice gardens and in a quiet and tranquil setting. The breakfast was very good as it was cooked fresh. Our room was clean and comfortable and in a quiet part of the hotel as we requested.
Could not use the shower as the water pressure was very low.

The room was superb, staff were very welcoming and helpful, plenty of room to park, lovely location.
The shower wasn't brilliant but the other positives of the hotel certainly overcame this issue.

A lovely well run hotel with excellent food in a beautiful garde. What I liked above all else were the staff, not one of them passed without a smile and nothing was too much trouble for them, they were so willing to help.

I found the location easy and within easy to find and short travel distance from the business I was working with. It was a lovely relaxing place to go back to after a days work and the staff were very professional and friendly. I was able to carry on work later by inviting collegues to the hotel.

We have travelled extensively, this is by far the most pleasant, friendly, & caring hotel we have ever stayed in. The room ideal, bed extremely comfortable, food excellent, & the staff, including the owner, genuinely warm , professional & willing to "go that extra mile" to ensure we had a pleasant stay. I would certainly recommend the hotel & stay there again when next in Bolton.
There was nothing to dislike, I don´t think you can be perfect, but Egerton House comes pretty close.

Very comfortable hotel, in peaceful surroundings, close to both the countryside and the city making it ideal for most travellers. The hotel lounge area and restaurant were very nice, and the rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious enough for a short stay.
The shower in the room was cold and almost no water pressure. The bar and restaurant prices were a little steep for the area, although the food was very good. The gardens could do with some tlc. Having a £2 credit card charge in this day and age is unnecessary.

Comfortable. Welcoming. Good standard of rooms and ensuites, good facilities in general. Excellent breakfast choices included in the cost, not a sneaky add-on to make the cost appear cheaper.
there is nothing to dislike about the Egerton House Hotel

Comfortable and slightly quirky layout which made it more interesting than a modern hotel! Spacious rooms and good public rooms
Breakfast disappointing. Tea weak. Mushrooms tinned!!!! Scrambled eggs tasteless. Cornflakes stale. Bottled water should be provided in rooms and a fridge would be nice especially for families
